Admissions are now open for 2025/2026
Please find below links to download and view the choices for ECA’s in Term 2 and 3 2014-2015.
This term we are again using an electronic system to make signing your child up for an ECA easier and fairer. Registrations are now open, and you can access the sign-up page by clicking here. Registrations will close at 6pm on Tuesday 20th January 2015.
Please note that sports teams involve trials and registration cannot be done online.
Registrations will be on a first come first served basis, and once an ECA reaches full capacity registration for that particular ECA will close. Please also ensure you refer to our sports teams schedule to ensure you do not sign up for ECA's on the same day.
ECAs will commence the week of Sunday 25th January, beginning at 3.00pm and finishing at 4.00pm. Sports teams will commence the week of Sunday 18th January. Please remember there are no school ECA buses.
Children in Year 1 and 2 can sign up for a maximum of two activities however we recommend in Year 1 that one activity a week is sufficient whilst your child is transitioning into the primary years of school. We recommend children in Years 3 - 6 register for no more than two enrichment activities unless invited to attend either a sports team or arts based activity.
For students in Secondary in particular, the ECA programme is your opportunity to learn beyond the classroom and broaden your horizons, make sure when it comes to that all important time to write university applications you can evidence fully getting involved in school life. If there are things missing you would like to see let us know and we will see what we can do.

At The British International School Abu Dhabi, we believe that education is not just about academic success—it’s about nurturing compassionate, responsible young people who understand the importance of giving back. This Ramadan, I have been truly moved by the way our students have embraced the spirit of the holy month, demonstrating kindness, generosity, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
Inspired by the latest Nord Anglia INSIGHTS article exploring why the Early Years are the most important years of a child’s education, we know that a child’s most significant learning happens during this time - in ways that are not always immediately visible.
