This stage adaptation of the film tells the story of Shrek and Donkey and their quest to rescue the princess for Lord Farquaad. The vision and direction of Ms Kirstine inspired the children to bring the various characters to life in a wonderful show, staged on the most ambitious stage yet seen at TX.
The biggest backdrop, the largest stage area and the tallest castle, supported by a range of superb props created by Mr Rob and our superb teaching assistants, Ms Duyen, Ms Phuong and Ms Yen. The music and singing were of the very highest quality thanks to the efforts of Mr Jon. Ms Jess on the lighting decks ensured that the marvellous costumes managed by Ms Hong Anh could be seen in their full glory!
The final performance on Tuesday was a great way to finish off, with those lucky enough to be in the audience thoroughly enjoying the show. The teachers are all very proud of the children’s efforts.
