On Monday 21st November, 6 students represented BISB Primary in a pronunciation and performance competition. They competed against English Bilingual and English language learners across Budapest and presented an extract from a text, for 5 minutes each, on a stage in front of an audience of their peers, teachers and parents. All our students were wonderful; they spoke with confidence, clarity, eye contact and body gestures to make their speech come alive and I was so proud of them. A huge congratulations to all 6 students; Bernat Horvath (1st place), Laura Sedlak (Joint 2nd place), Paola Juanes Bertora (Joint 2nd place), Alex Chefranov, Diana Di Leo and Nicole Gao.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
