Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th November we welcomed the return of Nick Mahmut our Juilliard Drama Curriculum Specialist to the school. During the visit, Nick worked alongside students in a range of lessons, supporting students in Year 7, 8, 10 and 12 with their on-going learning and development of Drama skills. Nick was also able to work alongside our cast for this year’s school musical, ‘GREASE’ where we workshopped with the lead roles, focusing on ensemble skills and building relationships amongst the cast. Alongside our students, Nick also led a professional development workshop with our Performing Arts team and the team had some opportunities to share ideas as a department and build on our students creative learning at BISB. It has been a fabulous two days and we look forward to welcoming our Juilliard Music Curriculum Specialist later in the academic year.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
