Year 9 have been starting their ‘Rates of Reaction’ unit and have looked at how you can tell if a reaction is occurring – colour change, fizzing, heat evolved, etc
They performed a variety of experiments to see these changes.
After this, they used a simple method of collecting gas from an experiment to see how fast the rate of the reaction was – what they don’t yet realise is that they now need to draw graphs and interpret the data! It’s not all fun! 😊

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
