On Wednesday 20th September our U19 Girls’ Football team travelled to Lycée Français Gustave Eiffel de Budapest school to play their first match of the season. We went with high hopes of setting our stall out early and taking control of the game and within five minutes of the start we got off to the perfect start. By half time it was 3-0 to our girls and we looked to improve certain aspects of our game in the second half. I can proudly say that we took on board the comments made at half time and ran out 7-0 winners with goals from Bori (Yr13) Giselle (Yr11) Tille (Yr12) Keira (Yr13) and Lena (Yr11). As a coach, out of the many positives I take away from this game is that we showed we were learning throughout the game, several different players got their names on the score sheet and we have now got the first game out of the way and can now look forward to further matches and tournaments.
A very well done to the players,
Chris Walker
Head Coach of Girls’ Football
Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
