Follow your dreams and never give up! This was the message from Anita Ugyan, the first Hungarian woman to summit Everest, when she visited Year 4 last week. Anita led us through her journey to the top of Everest, from the fitness preparation at home through each camp on the way to the summit, to the euphoria of the achievement. The children were spellbound as they listened to the challenges she met on the way and how working together as a team is the only way to reach the summit. Anita encouraged the children to find what they are passionate about and follow their dreams. She was an inspiration to us all. The presentation was part of the childrens’ work on Adventurers and Explorers.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
