Starting from the first day of March until the end of Term 2, MUSE will organize an exciting creative writing competition that you wouldn't want to miss out on! The winner of the competition will get their piece of writing published in the prestigious MUSE magazine, receive 20 house points, and even get a free copy of the magazine featuring their work. Don't worry, even the second and third-place entries will get published, but they won't receive the 20 house points or the free copy.
The entries will be evaluated by the professional MUSE team, who will assess everything fairly. You can submit anything, from haikus or poems to artwork, flash fiction, and short stories, as long as it relates to the general theme of "Lost in Time", which means having your work based on an event or period which happened in a time so long ago that it has been completely forgotten or lost to history. This means that you can base your work on anything you like, although it does have to be fact-based; no creating anything that doesn't exist in the real world.
Stories told to you by family members, or really anyone, are also welcome. Submitting your work could never have been easier - you can upload your writing to the designated Firefly task, or you could send it directly to Ms Walsh at [email protected]. So what are you waiting for? Start writing now to have a chance to earn fame and recognition for your amazing writing skills!

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
