Seven students and two teachers embarked on a memorable journey to Tanzania's Arusha region this February break. Amidst breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural experiences, students delved into wildlife conservation, local traditions, and community service.
Their adventure included a safari at Tarangire National Park, where they learned about African wildlife. Additionally, they contributed to community development by building three additional classrooms at Dolly Bush Primary School and two goat sheds for local families, as well as installing solar lamps into their houses. During this service experience they also developed some personal skills, they learnt how to make cement, lay bricks and use the hammer effectively.
At a nearby coffee plantation, students explored organic farming practices, while camping at Dolly Bush provided opportunities for personal growth through tent pitching and cooking.
Reflective sessions each evening deepened their understanding of sustainable development goals, fostering teamwork and global awareness. This transformative expedition left a lasting impact, enriching students' lives and fostering lifelong friendships across Nord Anglia schools.

Hungarian Teacher and Social Impact LeadEarlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
