This week was English Week at BISB. In primary, we celebrated by holding our Spelling Bee final, taking part in Drop Everything And Read every day and dressing up as our favourite book characters. On Tuesday, Year 1 hosted Mr. Russell and Mr. Brown for their 'Book Before Bedtime' story telling event. We also welcomed author and illustrator, Zehra Hicks, to the school. Zehra attended our assemblies, explaining about the process of illustrating and worked with all of the primary school children, combining talks, readings, and fun, interactive workshops.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
