In the past few weeks, the Year 10 tutor groups have embarked on a remarkable journey of empathy and action by learning about homelessness and extending a helping hand to those in need.
One outstanding effort came from 10 Jade, who collaborated with Menhely Alapítvány to gather essential items such as non-perishable food, clothing, blankets, and more. Their dedication to collecting these necessities demonstrates their commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of the unhoused.
Meanwhile, 10 Ruby and Topaz showed their support for Budapest Bike Maffia through creative initiatives. Ruby orchestrated a lively raffle and hosted a delightful muffin decorating competition, fostering a sense of community while raising funds for the cause. On the other hand, Topaz organized a unique 'Pop a prize' charity event, where students had the opportunity to pop balloons and win small prizes, all in the spirit of giving back.
Additionally, 10 Sapphire took a different approach by creating an informative educational video on the topic of homelessness. Their initiative not only raised awareness but also provided valuable insights into the complex issues surrounding homelessness, inspiring their peers to take action and make a difference.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
