This week Year 5 had a wonderful time at the Csopa Science Museum, which has relocated to Csillaghegy. The children spent the day exploring countless ‘hands on’ science activities and enjoyed a very explosive science show!
"The Csopa trip was an amazing trip. We got to do so many things! For example, mixing vinegar and cabbage juice, touching dry ice, making a whirlpool and going through a mirror – maze. Everything was so amazing! I hope I can go back." (Lili 5N)
"My favourite activity was the vortex machine. If we rotate a liquid, a tornado shape will form. The faster it rotates the deeper the vortex." (Hwitae 5N)
"I learned so many new things that I didn’t know before, like the nail bed and the science behind it is that your weight balances out on each nail. I also liked the show, we could touch dry ice!" (Andor 5N)
"It was awesome how many scientific things I never realised there were in the world. It was great!" (Mila 5A)
"I liked Csopa because of the mirror maze and the dry ice with the liquid nitrogen!" (Tygo 5 A)
"Csopa is like a science museum. My favourite was driving the Lunar Rover and the science show." (Armaghan 5N)
Year 5
Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
