From September 23rd to 27th, we celebrated Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Week at BISB, commemorating the global initiative born in 2012 to address urgent environmental, political, and economic challenges.
From Monday to Wednesday, prefects provided lunchtime activities to link their subjects to the SDGs. On Thursday and Friday, representatives of the Social Impact Student Union demonstrated the impactful work of their Co-Curricular Activities and advertised their clubs. Form tutors also took some time during morning registrations to deepen students’ knowledge about the SDGs, engage in some exciting conversations and play some quiz games.
These activities not only raised awareness but also empowered students to take steps towards a sustainable future. As we wrap up this inspiring week, we look forward to continuing our journey towards a better, more sustainable world, and moving towards achieving the Gold level of the Social Impact Distinction.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
