On Saturday, 1st February, our school hosted the highly anticipated Budapest Cup, where both our Under 19 Boys and Girls basketball teams showcased their talent and sportsmanship in exciting matchups against teams from Britannica International School and the American International School Budapest. This marked both teams' first competitive tournament of the season.
The Boys team put on an impressive performance, winning both of their matches convincingly. Their skill, teamwork, and determination led them to claim 1st place and secure the championship title. Congratulations to the Boys team for their dominant victory!
Meanwhile, the Girls team triumphed over Britannica in a thrilling match, demonstrating resilience and teamwork. However, despite putting up a hard-fought battle, they lost to the American International School Budapest in a close contest, ultimately finishing as runners-up and securing 2nd place.
We are incredibly proud of both teams for their outstanding performances and sportsmanship. A big thank you to all the players, coaches, and supporters who made this event such a success. We now look forward to these teams competing in their end-of-season DVAC and NAGGE tournaments in March and wish them the best of luck!

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
