Celebrating Sports and Community at Our Secondary Sports Day

Celebrating Sport and Community at Our Secondary Sports Day - Secondary Sports Day
Last week, our entire secondary school community came together for a vibrant and energetic celebration of sports during our annual BISB Secondary Sports Day

The event was not only a house tournament but also offered individual competitions for students eager to challenge themselves - all within an inclusive and supportive environment.

Every student had the opportunity to participate at a level that suited them, ensuring a positive experience for all. The day was designed to encourage enjoyment, teamwork, and a lasting appreciation for the benefits of regular physical activity and sport.

Students took part in a wide range of athletic and sporting activities, earning points both for themselves and for their house. With fantastic weather on our side, the event featured seven individual track and field events and five exciting team challenges and games.

Prizes were awarded to the top three male and female competitors in each year group, and the overall house results were as follows:

🥇 1st – Topaz
🥈 2nd – Ruby
🥉 3rd – Sapphire
🏅 4th – Jade

Congratulations to all our winners and podium finishers! A huge thank you goes out to everyone involved in planning and running the event - especially our amazing Year 13 student volunteers, whose support was invaluable.

Our Secondary Sports Day was a true celebration of movement, community, and school spirit. We look forward to many more events that bring us together through sport!
