The school is delighted to announce some major upgrades to its campus that will significantly enhance both sporting and performing arts provision across Primary and Secondary.
A key part of this exciting development is the revamp of the Secondary sports field, which will include a brand-new athletics track, long jump and shot putt areas, a full-sized basketball court, and new tennis courts. These additions will expand the opportunities for students to develop their athletic skills under the care and guidance of BISS teacher and Olympian, Marlon Devonish.
In addition to outdoor upgrades, BISS is constructing a new state-of-the-art building to further enhance performing arts and physical education programmes. This new facility will include dance and drama studios, a new Sports Hall and a fully equipped gym, offering students even more opportunities to explore their passions and talents in a purpose-built environment.
The current Primary football pitch is being replaced with brand new astroturf to ensure younger learners benefit from a top-class playing surface that supports both safety and skill development.
To accommodate all these exciting developments, BISS is expanding the campus onto adjacent land, creating a dynamic and inspiring new space that reflects a commitment to student growth, wellbeing and achievement.
