This week, our Pre-Nursery children are having fun with our last topic ‘pirates’.
Children were provided with a setting for them to explore and lead the role play: dressing up with hats and patches, blowing the horn, calling out Ahoy, Me hearties, looking at the map to find where the treasure was, sailing, etc. During the dramatic plays, there have been many pleasant interactions and conversations among the children.
We played the games ‘what do you spy’ and ‘treasure hunt’, which aim to help children build more vocabulary and extend their sentences. We also invited children to make gold slime for their sensory play, practise the scissor skills, make a pirate hat, dress up the pirates, enjoy the puzzles, and dig for treasures.
It is a joyful learning week!

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
