Vikram Menon is an industrial designer and IB Design and Technology teacher. He has taught IB Design Technology at the MYP, DP & CP levels over the past five years, across two international schools based in Delhi-NCR, India.
He graduated from the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore, India with a Bachelor's degree (B.Des) in Industrial Design. Incorporating applied science and mathematics in his work is a big part of his practice. He specialises in paper, cardboard, foam board and wood.
Driving inquiry-based learning through gamification and appropriate scaffolding is his way of engaging classes. He truly believes in experiential learning and has had great success in making Design an enjoyable and enriching subject for his students. He’s keen on helping students take ownership of their work and learn to always be inquisitive.
He looks forward to engaging with students from a wide range of backgrounds and delivers design learning in a fruitful and productive manner.
