This prestigious event saw participation from 10 schools, each contributing multiple students, all ready to tackle a total of 72 holes on the course. Over the course of four intense days, our students engaged in both individual and team events, showcasing their skills and camaraderie.
The daily schedule was demanding, beginning with a 5:30 am wake-up call followed by a prompt breakfast at 6:00 am, before heading straight to the practice driving range. Remarkably, our dedicated golfers were often already prepared and eager for breakfast by 5:30 am. Day one commenced with a practice round, leading into the exhilarating team scramble event. The following day featured the first installment of individual competitions alongside the continuation of the team scramble. On the third day, the focus shifted to the second round of individual competitions, culminating in an evening of celebration at the awards dinner and presentation ceremony.
Throughout the tournament, our students exhibited remarkable determination and resilience, navigating the challenges of one of the most demanding sports with grace. Their hard work paid off with outstanding results, both individually and as a team. Notably, our team secured impressive 2nd, 3rd, and 5th place finishes in the team scramble category. In the individual competitions, our very own Zara Lee, Year 9, earned the runner-up position in the Girls U15 Net Competition, while Mika Alfie, also Year 9, emerged as the overall Net Champion among all participants.
The achievements of our BSKL golfers fill us with immense pride, reflecting their dedication and skill. As we reflect on their accomplishments, we eagerly anticipate the continued growth of our BSKL golf team, envisioning even greater successes on the horizon.

Praise plays a vital role in supporting student wellbeing and motivation, particularly during exam periods when pressure and stress are often heightened. In these high-stakes moments, students may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or uncertain about their abilities.
On Friday 18th and Saturday 19th April, BSKL proudly hosted the prestigious World Scholar’s Cup—a global academic tournament that brings together students from across the world to compete in four challenging academic events over two exciting days.
