Meredith O'Reilly

Meredith graduated from Lafayette College (USA) with a BA in Psychology. She then attended American University, earning her Master of Arts in Special Education: Learning Disabilities. Additionally, she holds a Professional Concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorders from the University of California (Davis). She is qualified to conduct Pearson Assessments Level B (USA), and most recently, she completed her Orton-Gillingham training.

Meredith has extensive experience working at international schools in the United States, China, Vietnam, and Singapore. She has held the roles of SEN teacher, Primary SENCo, and Whole School SENCo where she successfully collaborated with teachers and parents to ensure high-quality support for students with additional learning needs. In her spare time, she assists relocating families to find appropriate schools for their children with SEN.

She is passionate about her chosen field. Her philosophy that every child can learn with appropriate instruction drives her to continuously learn new teaching techniques and stay abreast of the latest research on learning differences and instructional approaches. She enjoys implementing her learning in her everyday practice whilst finding the best strategies for each individual child.

As a former university athlete, Meredith enjoys passing on her love of sport to students. She has coached field hockey, track and field and also supported school productions. In her free time, Meredith enjoys traveling, reading crime novels, eating new foods and spending time with her husband and three young children.
