Our entire school community—students, teachers, parents, and supporters—is celebrating the impressive outcomes of the 2023/24 academic year. This year, our students achieved an average points score of 32.4, above the global average of 30.32. A total of 39 students at NAIS completed their IB Diploma Programme this year, which is the largest graduating cohort. Special congratulations to the recipients of the first-ever bilingual diplomas in our school's history!
Paul Crute, Principal at Nord Anglia International School said: “All of us here at Nord Anglia International School Dublin are incredibly proud of the achievements of our IB Diploma Programme graduates. Congratulations to the Class of 2024!
At Nord Anglia Education schools, we encourage our students not only to learn foreign languages but to think, feel, and experience the world through them. Many of our schools around the world, from the United States to Switzerland and from Vietnam to China, offer a world-class bilingual education.
Bilingualism—the ability to communicate fluently in two languages—helps children learn and grow. At our schools, we understand being bilingual helps students truly excel because it boosts their thinking skills, improves decision-making, and enhances communication. Plus, it helps them appreciate other cultures on a deeper level.
Read on for a closer look at all the benefits of bilingualism.
