We are working on a series of activities and events to mark this momentous occasion. We want to tell the unique story of NAIS from the perspective of former and current staff, students and parents through stories and pictures. If you would like to be part of this project we would love to hear from you. You and your children were once part of our special community, and have all been on this journey to 20 years!

Higher Education preparation can sometimes feel like an insurmountable ascent of selecting locations, sifting through world rankings, finalising predicted grades and sitting examinations when your child is in their final years of secondary school.

Students in the Model United Nations CCA had the opportunity to represent NAIS Pudong at the Shanghai Singapore International Model United Nations (SSIMUN) conference.

What another exciting day for our Primary children today! Witches and vampires, fairies and superheroes and many more creatures could be spotted around the classrooms making it a fun-filled Halloween celebration.

What is Extended Essay? it is a piece of independent research on a topic chosen by the student in consultation with a supervisor in the school. The students can choose to pursue a single discipline essay in one of the IBDP subject groups or an inter-disciplinary essay investigating an issue of global significance. The Extended Essay process takes place across years 12 and 13 and greatly enhances students’ skills in research, critical thinking and reflection.

Confidence is a key skill for success. In an ever-changing world, having the confidence to experiment, learn and engage in tasks outside of your comfort zone is more important than ever before. At Nord Anglia, it’s also key to the education we provide.

We all know that waiting for exam results can be a stressful time for students (and their parents!) Throughout my career, I’ve noticed that parents can sometimes find it hard to support their children through what’s always a stressful time, and that they can really benefit from knowing what options they have once their child receives their results.

Nord Anglia International School, Pudong has an outstanding reputation for being a caring and supportive community, something that I have seen in full evidence throughout this first half term, with every one of our Primary and Early Years students settling into their new learning environments and routines successfully and happily.

‘Personalised learning’ is just one example of a term discussed frequently in schools but often with different ideas and meanings. In my 30+ years as an educator, I have found that some parents have different definitions of personalised learning, while others may not be very familiar with the concept or the concrete benefits it brings to students at school!
