NAIS Pudong Scholarships
Monday saw the eagerly awaited return of the After School Activities (ASA) programme, commencing Season One which will run through until January 2025. The programme is designed as an extension and compliment to our core curriculum, giving students the opportunity to either extend some of their traditional classroom learning in areas such as English an Additional Language (EAL), or further developing their growing skillsets in sports, performing arts and other interests.
However, it also gives students the ability to explore activities which they may not usually consider, such as martial arts, theatre skills, debate, chess, golf, tennis and much more. We encourage students to select options across varying subjects and activities each day where possible.
It was wonderful to see and hear students engaged in all of the activities available across the school, and we look forward to seeing the fruits of their labour as their skills develop and improve across the course of the Season.
Last Sunday, NAIS Pudong had a Spring Fling filled with laughter and joy! International families from Shanghai gathered on campus and had a wonderful family day with their children and parents on a sunny spring day.
Football season this year was fantastic! This was the first U19 girls team we’ve had in many years, and I’m in complete admiration of many girls in our team giving the sport a go for the first time, bringing football back to life for us!
This week, our school was thrilled to welcome specialist educators from the world-renowned Juilliard School for an inspiring series of dance and drama sessions with both our teachers and students!
From 11 to 13 March 2025, a group of our creative students had the incredible opportunity to participate in a the NAE Regional Performing Arts Festival in Shanghai alongside 11 Nord Anglia schools from across China! With over 475 young artists immersing themselves in drama, dance, music, puppetry, short film making, physical theatre, and more, the festival was a true celebration of creativity and collaboration.
