Since joining BIS in 2016, Danielle has brought a wealth of expertise and passion to the school, drawing on over 16 years of teaching and educational leadership experience in both the UK and here at BIS HCMC.
An Oxford University graduate in Biological Sciences, Danielle began her career teaching in Honduras before broadening her perspective as a Sustainability Strategy Consultant in London. Her commitment to education led her to complete a PGCE, a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and the National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership (NPQSL).
Her career has encompassed roles as a teacher and leader in Science departments, Assistant Principal in London, and—at BIS—Head of Biology, IBDP Coordinator, and now Assistant Headteacher of Teaching & Learning. Across every role, she has championed high-quality teaching, intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning—ensuring that BIS students leave not only academically prepared, but also with the confidence, international-mindedness, and resilience to thrive at university and beyond.
As a BIS parent, Danielle views the school through both professional and personal lenses. Her two children are thriving here, sharing her enthusiasm for the school’s values and opportunities. Outside the classroom, she can often be found outdoors—hiking, cycling, or diving with her family—always eager to explore, discover, and learn.
